Martha Hall Foose is the author of A Southerly Course: Recipes and Stories from Close to Home. Her first cookbook, Screen Doors & Sweet Tea, a best-selling homage to classic Southern cooking, won a James Beard Award in 2009. Clarkson Potter, a division of Crown Publishing/Random House, publishes both books. She served as a food stylist for the Disney feature film The Help. Martha has made numerous television and radio appearances, including being a recurring guest on ABC’S Good Morning America, CBS’ The Early Show, The Food Network’s Paula’s Best Dishes, and Sirius/XM’s Martha Stewart Living.
